Each portrait is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between you and me. From the face painting to the photography to the final presentation, we’ll work together to create a piece of art that reflects your spirit and the memories you hold dear.
The Experience
This is more than a photoshoot. It’s a slow, immersive artistic process. From concept to final image, every step is intentional, collaborative, and designed to create something deeply meaningful and visually striking.
What to Expect
1. Concept & Design
We begin with a conversation about your vision including who or what you’re honoring, meaningful symbols, colors, and overall aesthetic. Together, we’ll design a look that tells your story.
2. Transformation (Face Painting)
Using high-quality, professional cosmetic-grade face paints and makeup, I’ll bring your design to life.
- This portion can take 2–5+ hours depending on the level of detail
- You’ll be seated for extended periods, with breaks built in
- I use clean, hygienic application practices and skin-safe products designed specifically for the face
3. Photography Session
Once your transformation is complete, we move into a guided photoshoot.
- Sessions take place on location, either somewhere meaningful to you or a setting I’ve thoughtfully selected to complement your design
- I’ll guide you through poses, movement, and expression so you feel comfortable and confident throughout
- We may incorporate multiple locations to add variety and depth to your final images
4. Final Artwork
Your images are professionally edited and delivered as high-resolution digital files, with optional print and framing options depending on your package.

Styling is an important part of bringing your portrait to life, and we’ll approach it collaboratively.
- You’ll provide outfit options, jewelry, and any personal pieces you’d like to incorporate into your portrait
- You’re welcome to bring multiple options so we can choose what works best on the day of your session
- If you have meaningful items (heirlooms, accessories, symbolic pieces), I encourage you to include them
I will provide floral elements for your hair, and in some cases may create a custom handmade headpiece or floral accessory to complement your design. Together, we’ll curate a look that feels cohesive, meaningful, and visually striking.
- Total session time: Approximately 4–8 hours, depending on design complexity and number of locations
- Couples/Friends sessions: Plan to spend most of the day together
- You will need to sit still for extended periods, especially during face painting
- Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
- Wear comfortable clothing and plan ahead (snacks, hydration, etc. are encouraged!)
- I use professional, cosmetic-grade products designed for safe use on skin
- Please note any allergies or sensitivities in your inquiry form
- Makeup and face paint cannot be applied over irritated, broken, or compromised skin
- Makeup and face paint can be removed with soap and water or a gentle cleanser (some colors may leave a temporary tint)
Each portrait is created with longevity and presentation in mind, designed to be displayed and treasured for years to come. If receiving a physical, framed print:
- Images are printed on premium, professional-grade photo paper with a soft satin finish and subtle texture, offering rich color, beautiful detail, and minimal glare
- Prints are produced using archival-quality inks for lasting vibrancy and accurate skin tones
- Each piece is mounted on archival foam core, making it ready for framing and display
Every frame is individually hand-painted and finished with a pearl glaze by me, adding a soft luminosity and making each final piece truly one of a kind.
